Swimming with Daddy

The afternoon after Jon finished his exams, he took the girls swimming. Needless to say, they loved the extra time with Daddy!

17 weeks

I have been so bad about getting pictures of this baby's growth inside of me. Oh well...at least I got one before I was halfway through! Here I am at 17 weeks. I popped out a lot quicker with this one, so I'm hoping that it will slow down here for a bit.

We go on June 4th for the ultrasound and to hopefully find out what we are having! I'm feeling much better than I was at first, so I'm very thankful....especially since the packing has begun!

Strawberry picking

I took the girls up to Greenville a few weeks ago to let Jon study for exams and have some time with family. We went strawberry picking. It was Lauren's first time. Needless to say, once she realized that what she was putting in her bucket was yummy, no more strawberries made it in. :-) Karin did a good job, though.

They also enjoyed being with Uncle Jonathan.

I'm really here... :-)

I apologize for not updating this in awhile. I've just now started feeling better from being pregnant, so had to use my free time to catch up on other things around the house. Not to mention that we are moving in about 6 weeks, so I have packing to do as well.

Jon starts finals on Thursday this week. He has 3 total--this Thursday, Monday, and the next Thursday. He has been studying hard for them. He takes Step 1 of Boards on June 14th, so will be studying for that after he finishes finals. Please keep him in your prayers. He is very tired, yet has a lot of studying to do. We are trusting the Lord for grace and strength.

The girls are growing up so fast! Lauren knows most of her animal sounds now and has really started to talk more. Even if it sounds like gibberish to us, she really can communicate what she is trying to say. She is a sweetheart! Karin is becoming more of my helper all the time! She loves cooking with me and helping me with the laundry. She is going to be so great when the baby comes!

Here are some pictures of ice cream cones:

Lauren prefers eating it with her fingers
