Jon's graduation

****Please don't copy these to anywhere else on the web!

Well, these got a little mixed up, but here you go. Sorry about the quality on some of them. Our camera broke (again!) right before graduation, so these are from another camera.

Texas trip part two

The girls and I flew into San Antonio and then drove up to Waco to see Heidi and Brad. We had a wonderful time with them! We went to a Children's Museum while there. Karin loved it. We all had fun too! :)

Driving a police car

There was a little neighborhood there that the kids could play in.

we could walk on this piano...it was fun to play songs on it

Lauren had a great time as well!

trying on some new shoes :)

all decked out!

We had a pretend tea party. Karin loved this room. Brad even dressed up, but requested that I not post the picture. :)

My parents came down for the last few days I was there. Papa did some babysitting so the girls could have some time together.

Texas trip part one

Lauren is now 8 months old! Where has the time gone? She is all over the place--a mixture of crawling and scooting--and pulling up on everything! She is such a happy baby and so much fun! I love watching her and Karin interact. Karin loves talking to Lauren and Lauren responds with a great big smile and even giggles. I hear Karin greet her in the morning with, "Good morning, precious!" :)

waiting in the Columbia airport--our flight was delayed an hour and a half!

Karin loved watching the planes take off and land.

Karin took a nap on the long flight--so wonderful!

miscellaneous

Here are the dresses I made (my mom and I were a team on them) for Jon's graduation. I already have someone asking for me to make one for them! Maybe I can start a little business! The one on the left is Karin's; one on the right is Lauren's.

Karin modeling--she was being really silly and not cooperating for this picture.

Lauren enjoys crawling through her entertainer....crazy girl! :)

Making apple pies with Mimi

My mom came for 2 days this past week to help out with the girls and give me some company. She and Karin made mini apple pies. Karin did so well! She was so proud of her pies! :)

somebody has to taste it, right? :)

Lauren's new chair/puffs

Lauren has a new chair now since she is eating more at the same time with Karin. I started giving her some puffs and cheerios just 2 days ago. I gave her some puffs today, and she ate them all by herself--and got them all in her mouth!

She's crazy!!!

Lauren has become so mobile in the past few weeks! When Jon left she was just rolling around to get places. Now she scoots all over the place--she tries to crawl, but hasn't mastered that yet. She is pulling up on everything! This is how I found her after her nap yesterday. She pulling to standing while I was standing there. :)

I'm having to re-evaluate everything that is low since she gets into it now! :)

Edventure/Chick-fil-a

I took the girls to Edventure again on Friday. Karin had been asking to go, and I thought it would be good for us to get out and do something. Here are my favorite pictures from that morning.

she loves the tractor!

Lauren almost pulled herself into this wagon!

Yes, she cheated. :) She climbed under the glass and put the ball in the hole. :)

knocking down Mommy's tower

We went to Chick-fil-a for lunch. It was the dress up like a cow day. I had already taken her cow hat off so she could eat when I took this picture--sorry!

Lauren liked it too!
