Heidi got engaged to Brad Kliewer last Monday morning. They will be getting married on May 23, 2008! Aren't they cute? :)

Karin has been eating and sleeping a lot recently. We measured her last night and she is 23 1/4 inches long now! She's grown an inch and a half in the last few weeks! She is almost sitting up by herself as well. It's fun to watch her try new things.

Ear Infection

Well, Karin went to the doctor on Thursday and it turns out that she had a mild ear infection, so she's on an antibiotic for about a week. She weighed 12 pounds, 9 ounces--she gained over a pound in 2 weeks! She's doing much better than she was last week, so I think it is clearing up.

She is "talking" a lot more and started squealing early last week. I don't think it will be long before she is sitting up--she sits up pretty well with the Boppy supporting her and has a very strong back. I'll try to post a new picture within the next few days.

Medical School

Well, Jon didn't get accepted to USC for this year. He is retaking the MCAT on September 8th. We originally didn't think he would have to retake it, but in order to apply for a DO program, he had to. So, he is cramming his brain full of things he hasn't looked at in 3 years. :) We are thankful for the Lord's definite leading in our lives this year. His plan is perfect and we are trusting Him. (Sometimes it is easier than others.) Please pray for Jon that he will study well and be able to make a good score.
