Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with Jon's parents this year. We had a nice time with them.

Medical School update

Jon has received secondary applications from both USC (Columbia) and MUSC (Charleston). Once they have his recommendation letters, he should be offered an interview. His application to the DO programs is still processing. We are praying that it will finish soon so that the rest can get going. Thank you for your continued prayers.

I took Karin outside yesterday to take some pictures of the beautiful trees in our yard. I decided to get some pictures of her as well. Of course, she tried to eat the leaves. She did manage to put some in her mouth, then made an awful face and started spitting. :) I came to her rescue and removed the leaves from her mouth. :-)

Tooth #3

Karin 's top left tooth broke through yesterday. :) She isn't fussy at all, which has been nice. Here are some pictures from Sunday morning.

Bathtime

Karin loves her baths! Since she can sit up now, I bought a plastic container to use as a bathtub in our big tub. (Since our water pressure is horrible and it would literally take 30 minutes to get 2 inches of water in the bottom of the tub.) Well, she loves splashing herself. :)

Food Faces

Karin loves to eat! Here are some pictures from today. She was making funny faces in between bites. :)

She is feeling some better now that she is on medicine. She has started to play peek-a-boo with herself. Once we get some pictures or a video, we will post it.

Ear Infections

Karin went to the doctor again yesterday. Both ears are infected now, so she is on an antibiotic to help clear things up. She has had a better day today than yesterday. We weighed her again yesterday and she is up to 16 pounds, 6 ounces now!

Pumpkin Bread Fun

Well, I was trying to make a nice loaf of pumpkin bread for Jon, but it sort of overflowed and made a mess.
Here is the oven before I cleaned it. :)
